Chocolate Chips Cookies((:

My very first attempt in doing the cookies all by myself.
Today i'm going to make Chocolate Chips Cookies..
Got my self down to the ntuc this afternoon after school to get the ingredients bought.
I do have some leftover ingredients that my sister have used behind when she bake cookies the other time. Asked her quite a lot of stuffs before I bought the ingredients and bake the cookies until she got a little irritated by me. Well, I guess cause i'm too excited to have my first attempt in baking the cookies ((:

Recipe:

1 cup (2 sticks) (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated white sugar

3/4 cup (160 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups (295 grams) all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups (270 grams) semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup (100 grams) walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped (optional)

Weighing the flour and sugar
Sieve them
Add in the brown sugar, butter, baking soda, vanilla essence and salt

Mix them well together

Add in the chocolate chips
Lay them nicely on the tray and its ready to be bake!
Yes, they are in the oven now! Can't wait to taste them(:
Have to wait around 10mins or so..
and the smell has already filled the kitchen.
Oh, finally its out! :D
TADAH!!

The total time taken for me to finish up everything is about 2 hours or so. Mainly because I have quite a small oven and thus needed more times to get the cookies to be bake. Well, the cookies are yumilious, seriously!

Waiting time can be quite tiring but when everything's done.. I got the result that I wanted. Haha! Taste a few cookies while waiting for the rest to get done. I must say that, although this is my first attempt, I couldn't believe that I can bake it without much help from my sister. Overall, its a new challenge for me, to be able to bake cookies all by myself. ((:

These few days was browsing around the internet looking for recipes to bake my cookies.
And i came by this website where they show different recipes of different types of cookies.
The best thing i found out from this website is that, they have all the three recipes that i wanted for my three cookies. And so i dont have to look around different websites to find. ((:

Smart Project

Oh well, this is my first post in this blog.
As what the title says, this blog is about my smart project :D
I have choosen to bake 3 different types of cookies; chocolate chips cookies, peanut butter cookies and butter cookies.
Seems a lot to learn to bake all these three different types of cookies.
But I'll give it my best and learn from my sister.

Everytime i look at my sister bake the cookies,
I'll always be the one behind eating up the cookies but not helping out.
So this time round, with the smart goal that i wanted to work on it.
I believe that i can bake these three types of cookies with my own ability
